....
Gak gampang ternyata jadi penjaga toko..
Mesti super teliti dan hati-hati..
Kalau enggak, jadinya malah minus deh uangnya.. :(
....
Yup.. now I'm working in a shop..
Well, actually I only help my friend who work there,
where she and all the workers work without receive any payment.
You may wonder, what kind of job is it and why do they want to do that?
So here is the story..
It is not like the other shop, it is an extraordinary shop.
Little shop with huge vision.
Most of the people who work there are women, they work voluntarily.
They live in little cities, but they think globally.
They sell products that are made by people who live hundred thousand miles from here.
Chocolate, spices, banana, coffee, tea, music instruments, handycraft, marmelade, linen, candle.
And they buy the products with better prices.
It is because they believe in fair trade,
where rich countries should not take advantages of low-wage labours and low product price from poor countries,
so people from all nations will have the same opportunity to have a better life.
Besides that,
they also have many projects.
From making donation for Hospitals in Rumania, women and children in Asia,
until making the "say no to war" petition to Mr Bush..
They talk and discuss about many topics,
globalization, world economic earning distribution, government policies,
and of course; also food recipies, household, children..
Cool..... :)
