I Learn that..

.. it's not easy to be a boss.
Often when we have some problems at work, it's really easy to blame the boss. For instance for being so indecisive, tending to hang any decisions (I don't know if that's the correct term?), or changing the decision. All of those actions give impact to our work, jobs that have to be done. What's the result? Our frustration.. or even worst, ignorance.

However boss is also human. I'm not a boss, but I could see now more and more how complex are sometimes the situation, topics, problems that have to be solved or decided by the boss. You really have to have broad view and good understanding of everything, every single thing. Once you miss one, then it could lead to the wrong or not the best decision.
You have to have really good and structured way of thinking, to identify which topic belongs or relates to which other topic, which should go to which box, which has to be prioritized, etc etc.
If the team manages only one specific subject, then perhaps it's not that complex. But if it manages the chain of processes or several subjects, then you're better be ready of the complexity that will appear.
Last, you should be able also to react fast enough. I think we should not let a topic or problem open for too long without any decision. Even a decision to stop, postpone, or not to continue anymore. It's still a decision.

*Sigh* Not easy.
I hope any bosses realize that also, and try to improve as much as possible.
A good subordinate will always try to help them even though the boss create the frustration.
Stay positive, and let not be ignorant.
